  • The parent company must be active and onshore
  • with audited or tax statements for two years,
  • free of tax and other liabilities,
  • without the use of nominees

  • Possession of a pension certificate and/or documentation from a Pension Fund (or similar authority) confirming pension entitlement
  • Possession of an account in a Bulgarian bank with a minimum balance of €8,000 per applicant

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Valid travel passport with at least 18 months remaining
  • Certificate of no criminal record (with an apostille for some countries)
  • Health insurance valid for 12 months with coverage of €30,000
  • Bank statement showing a minimum balance of €8,000 (for retiree residency applicants, the statement must be from a Bulgarian bank)
  • Two photographs, 35 x 45 mm
  • In case of registering your company’s trade representative office – corporate documents of the company must be provided (list is formed individually)
